Sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate uses
Sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate is used as a termination agent of emulsion type styrene butadiene rubber and styrene butadiene latex. In the rubber industry, sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate is sometimes as vulcanization accelerator. It can improve the rubber durable and elastic.
NaDDC is also a fungicide and bactericide in agriculture especially insecticide. It can control the growth of fungi and bacteria on crops, which helps prevent diseases and improves crop yields.
In the copper plating industry, Sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate to can stabilize the copper ions in the ectroplating baths and improve the quality of the plated metal.
Besides, it is a bactericidal and algal agent in the petroleum and paper industries; an intermediates of the fungicides thiram, thiram, thiram, thiram, and thiram; also as a disinfectant to make medicated soap with a content of 1%.
sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate water treatment
It is as an antifouling agent in water treatment processes. NaDDC helps control the growth of algae, bacteria, and other microorganisms in industrial water systems, such as cooling towers.
As an industrial bactericide, Sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate controls bacteria, fungi, and sludge in industrial circulating cooling water towers.
