In presulfurization process , Dimethyl disulfide is an inhibitor in cracking coking of petrochemicals.
Dimethyl disulfide (DMDS) is an activator in hydrodesulfurization process of oil refinery.
DMDS is also an intermediate for solvent and pesticides.
