Bisphenol S Application
Bisphenol S is mainly as a fixing agent. People use bisphenol S to produce fixing agent A.
Bisphenol S has excellent heat resistance, light resistance, and antioxidant properties. It is a raw material for synthesizing polycarbonate, epoxy resin, polysulfone, polyether sulfone and polyether inkstone resin. Formulator usually choose high purity 99.9% or 99.8% for such application.
Refine or normal grade Bisphenol S is usually for color photography materials, contrast enhancers, thermal recording materials (color developing agents), daily surfactants, and high-efficiency deodorants.
4,4-Sulfonyldiphenol is also as plating solution additive, leather tanning agent, dispersant for high-temperature dyeing with disperse dyes, phenolic resin hardening accelerator, and resin flame retardant.
Bisphenol S is an intermediates of pesticides , dyes and additive, which is a material in coatings, leather modifiers, and metal electroplating brighteners.
