Alpha Olefin Sulfonate/AOS
Character
Sodium α-olefin sulfonate is a kind of anionic surfactant.
Sodium α-olefin sulfonate is produced by sulfonation of α-olefin with sulfur trioxide through gas phase membrane and continuous neutralization.
AOS has the characteristics of excellent emulsifying, detergency and calcium soap dispersing power, good solubility and compatibility, fine and rich foam,
easy biodegradation, low toxicity and small irritation to skin. Especially when applied to phosphate-free detergents, AOS can not only maintain good detergency,
but also have good compatibility with enzyme preparations. The flowability of the powder product is good.
Use
Sodium α-olefin sulfonate is widely applied to various household washing products such as phosphorus-free washing powder, liquid detergent.
Also used for textile printing and dyeing industry, petrochemical products and industrial hard surfaces cleaning.
