Uses
Polysorbate 20 is an emulsifier in cosmetics and household products. It can improve the spreadability of products such as lotions, creams, and shampoos.
Polysorbate 60 is a softener, antistatic agent in the textile industry. It helps fiber to eliminate static electricity, improve its softness and give the fiber good dyeing performance. It is also an o/w type emulsifier, dispersant and stabilizer for the manufacture of food, medicine, cosmetics and water-based paints.
Polysorbate 80 has wide uses as oil field emulsifier, anti-wax agent, heavy oil wetting, resistance reducing agent, and near-well zone treatment agent. The main applications include synthetic fibers, photosensitive materials, fabrics, nylon and viscose cords.
