Glyoxal Use
Textile Industry
Glyoxal is a auxiliary agent for cellulose fibers in the textiles. It improves the wrinkle resistance, crease recovery, and durability of fabrics.
Paper
Glyoxal is a paper transient wet strengthening agent,which improves the wet strength and makes it suitable for resistance to moisture.
It is also a paper coating additive for high-quality papers , such as toilet paper and recycled paper.
Leather
It is also a cross-linking agent in tanning process. Glyoxal can enhance the strength, softness and resistance to water of leather products.
Construction industry
